After a Polaroid camera revival a few years ago, couples have been finding creative ways to use them at their weddings. They're a great retro touch and an instant way to capture all the special moments from your big day. Here are some great ways to incorporate them and also ways to make them more fun!

1 - AS A GUESTBOOK ALTERNATIVE

The traditional guest book has been a topic of debate for many. Do you really want a coffee table book that'll likely end up in a box in the back of your closet for twenty years? Instead, you can have a "guest book" where your guests add their photos and notes, so you can enjoy the funny pictures and love notes for years to come.

2 - AS PART OF YOUR WELCOME STATION

Set up a Polaroid station in the welcome area. Encourage guests to take arrival photos before the celebration starts. Then, as the evening progresses, have your wedding planner move the station to the dance party, where you'll get even more fun and amusing photos.

3 -ASK THEM TO FIND THEIR ESCORT CARD AND REPLACE IT WITH A PHOTO

This can even encourage people to take more group photos because everyone will be looking for their names at the same time. It can be a fun group effort. A kind of game.. if you will..

4 - CREATE YOUR OWN PROPS OR ASK YOUR GUESTS TO MAKE THEIR OWN

You can create your own props, encourage guests to make their own (like chalkboards), or simply let them get creative on their own. You can design the setup to be as fun or relaxed as you envision!

5 - MAKE IT ‘YOUR STYLE’

There are a wide variety of styles of cameras, letter boards, signs, tapes/glues, and pens. Get the ones you know you will love looking at whenever you want to reminisce about your wedding day by looking through all the kind words your guests wrote to you on your big day!

REMEMBER TO INCLUDE CLEAR INSTRUCTIONS

This is important for your guests, so they know exactly what to do, and makes it that much easier for you to receive the end result you are envisioning.
