Chinese English Wedding - A Beautiful Blend of Traditions!

This Chinese British wedding was a stunning blend of cultures. It wove together Western wedding traditions with rich Chinese customs, creating a vibrant mix.

The "double happiness" symbol and other cultural emblems added to the celebration, echoing the happiness and love celebrated in their heritage. The ceremony and reception had a familiar feel, similar to American weddings, but with a unique energy. The couple succeeded in honoring both their heritages beautifully!

The British groom and his Chinese bride decided to pay tribute to both families with a traditional tea ceremony. As their customs came together, it was lovely to combine traditions in a fun way.

The bride chose to write personal notes to each guest. For their partially indoor and outdoor barn wedding, we didn't want to use loose place cards at each setting risking them blowing away a slight breeze. So, the bride opted to include the place card information at the top of these personal notes, which we tucked into the place setting. She made sure to write in each guest's native language, making it even more special. I'm sure their guests will treasure those notes forever!
