Wedding Necessity Baskets - The Ultimate List

Wedding guests often find themselves in unexpected situations, and a well-stocked necessity basket in the bathroom can be a saving grace. Whether it's a torn hem, a broken heel, or a sudden headache, these baskets provide a thoughtful solution to common problems. By including essentials like bobby pins, band-aids, and breath mints, you can help your guests feel more at ease and focus on celebrating your special day. Whether in the Hudson Valley in Upstate NY or on the French Riviera, I suggest integrating something like this into your Wedding Planning.

Think of a necessity basket as a first-aid kit for beauty emergencies. It's a considerate touch that shows you've thought about your guests' needs and want to ensure they have a great time. And, with a little creativity, you can tailor the basket to fit your wedding's unique style and theme. From elegant to whimsical, the possibilities are endless. Here's a comprehensive list of items you could include, all available on Amazon, to create a necessity basket that will leave a lasting impression on your guests.

This can add up really quickly but you should aim for single-use items. The dollar store or bulk purchasing is often the most cost-effective approach! These don’t need to be fancy, but should not be shared items. And, don’t forget to get duplicates where needed (for multiple restrooms, men’s & women’s, etc)

Women's Restroom:

- A Shallow Container to put everything in
- Hair spray
- Hair brushes (travel size - combs are preferable for single-use)
